A Brooklyn day care worker sexually abused four little girls while they were students under his supervision, prosecutors allege.

Devante Brown, 30, who worked as a teacher at a child care center in Bushwick, was arrested Wednesday on charges he subjected two 5-year-olds, a 6-year-old and a 9-year-old to sexual abuse several times from April 1, 2024 and Aug. 22 of last year, prosecutors said.

The alleged molestation happened in the child care center, identified by sources as The Learning Factory on Evergreen Ave., and in one instance, at Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 6.

In at least one case, Brown intimidated a victim, threatening that their favorite teacher would be fired if they told an adult, prosecutors allege.

The children ultimately told their parents what happened, sparking a police investigation, prosecutors said.

No one picked up the phone at The Learning Factory on Thursday.

On Wednesday, after his arrest, police released Brown’s photo, along with a plea for any other victims to come forward by calling the NYPD’s Sex Crimes Hotline at (212) 267-RAPE or Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.

“The conduct alleged in this case shocks the [conscience]. Innocent children were entrusted to a teacher’s care to safely learn and grow, but instead this defendant allegedly shattered that trust in the worst way,” Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said in a statement Wednesday.

“We can never tolerate the disturbing exploitation and abuse of children alleged in this case and will continue to aggressively prosecute this and any other case in which someone abuses their position of authority to harm a child.”

Brown, of Bedford-Stuyvesant, was indicted Wednesday in Brooklyn Supreme Court on multiple charges of sexual conduct against a child, sex abuse, forcible touching and child endangerment.

Judge Donald Leo ordered him held on $150,000 cash bail, or $300,000 bond until his next court appearance on March 27. He remains held on Rikers Island.

His lawyer declined to comment Thursday.

One parent told News 12 Brooklyn that her young daughter was abused by Brown last summer.

“I feel like there’s some type of justice,” she told the station.
