🌼 Update on Andrew — From His Mom

Hi everyone… this is Andrew’s mom. I wanted to share a heartfelt update with all of you who have been praying, checking in, and holding my son close in your thoughts. Your support has meant more to our family than you will ever know.

Last night, we were given a small moment of hope. Andrew opened his eyes… he was responsive, and for a short while, we felt like we had our boy back. We talked to him, we held his hand, and we whispered how proud we are of him for fighting so hard. Even in that brief moment, he gave us strength.

But today has been incredibly difficult. Andrew has slipped back into a series of comas. He’s no longer responding, and watching him fight silently is the hardest thing a mother could ever witness. One moment you feel hope, the next you’re praying just to hear a tiny sign from him. It’s an emotional rollercoaster no parent is ever prepared for.

Still… we are not losing faith. We know Andrew is strong. We know he’s still fighting in his own way. And we continue to stay by his bedside, talking to him, playing his favorite songs, and reminding him how much he is loved by so many.

I am humbly asking — please continue praying for Andrew. Pray for strength, for healing, for comfort. Our family feels every prayer, every message, and every bit of support you’ve all shared. It truly lifts us up during the darkest moments.

National Guardsman Andrew Wolfe is now awake and responsive.
After fighting through one of the hardest battles of his life, our brother is showing the strength and determination we always knew he had. He’s opening his eyes, reacting to voices, and slowly reconnecting with the world around him.

This is nothing short of a blessing.
A step forward.
A moment of hope we all needed.

Please continue to keep Andrew and the Wolfe family in your prayers as he begins this long road to healing. Every message, every share, every prayer truly makes a difference.

 .I never imagined I would ever have to write something like this, but today my heart feels heavier than it has ever been. As many of you know, my son, Guardsman Andrew Wolfe, has been fighting the toughest battle of his life. We’ve been holding onto every bit of hope, every tiny improvement, every prayer sent our way.

A few moments ago, the doctors sat with me and shared the reality of Andrew’s condition. They told us that he has only a 20% chance of surviving. Hearing those words shattered me completely. No mother should ever have to hear that about her child. I felt the world collapse under my feet, and yet… in the middle of all of this pain, I saw something in Andrew today—he is still fighting. My boy is holding on. He has not given up, and neither will we.

To everyone who has been praying, messaging, calling, and standing with us in this storm… thank you. Your love means more than you know. But right now, we need you more than ever. I’m humbly asking—please, please continue to pray for Andrew. Pray for strength in his body, for peace in his mind, for wisdom for his doctors, and for a miracle that only God can provide.

This is the hardest challenge our family has ever faced, and the fear, the exhaustion, the uncertainty—it’s overwhelming. But I refuse to lose hope. I refuse to believe that this is the end of Andrew’s story. As long as he is fighting, as long as there is breath in his body, I will hold onto faith with everything I have left.

 UPDATE ON NATIONAL GUARDSMAN ANDREW WOLFE : Tonight we’re finally hearing something so many people have been praying for; a real, hopeful update straight from Andrew Wolfe’s mother.

She says neurologists are shocked in the best way. Andy is reacting to stimuli. He’s opening his eyes. He’s trying to move. This is happening even while doctors keep him sedated to protect his brain and keep him pain-free during the healing process.

His family knows brain swelling can get worse before it gets better, but the neurosurgeon told them things are moving in the right direction, something they weren’t sure they’d ever hear just days ago.

They’re taking everything hour by hour, holding onto every small win, and calling these early steps exactly what they feel like: miracles.

His mom said he will be a walking testimony when this is over and she’s asking people not to stop praying now. Every message, every share, every prayer has carried this family through the darkest week of their lives. 

Keep lifting Andrew Wolfe’s name up. He survived the unthinkable, and tonight, for the first time, there is real hope.

Update from parents and surgeon: Andy is doing "much better than they imagined."

I want to give everyone an update on our boy. We talked with the neurologist this morning and he said Andy is doing better than they imagined. He’s reacting to stimuli and is opening eyes and trying to move around. They are making sure he is sedated to allow the brain to heal so he is not feeling any pain.

With this being said though, we know that with a brain swell, it’ll get worse before it gets better. But the neurosurgeon is hopeful that things are moving in the right direction. Andy has a very long road ahead and right now we are going hour by hour but miracles are already occurring just with his progress he’s making so far. Your prayers and love mean so much to us and we need you guys to continue lifting Andy’s name up. He will be a walking testimony through this. Our God is good and miracles are happening as we speak.

I do want to make sure everyone knows we ARE NOT starting any Go Fund Me’s. I believe there’s one out there but we are wanting for nothing. We want prayers, your love, and your support.
