NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Country music singer and rapper Jelly Roll is reportedly being sued by a wedding band with the same name.
FOX Business reports the wedding band out of Pennsylvania filed a lawsuit claiming they've owned the Jellyroll trademark since 1980. Court documents reportedly show the country star's criminal past is causing "irreparable harm" to the name.
"The Plaintiff, professionally known as Jellyroll has been providing musical and vocal accompaniment for celebratory and charitable events first in the Delaware Valley and now throughout the Northeast part of the United States since at least 1980, including, among other notable events, two appearances at the White House for President George W. Bush and his family," FOX Business reports straight from the lawsuit.
