Noah Thompson and Colin Stough shared the stage for a duet at CMA Fest 50th anniversary in Nashville on June 10.
Between Thompson's performance and Chevy Vibes, he surprised the crowd by bringing his friend, American Idol Season 21 runner-up Stough, to sing a duet. Together, the duo delivered a rock cover of the Band Of Heathens hit, "Hurricane."
After their performance, Colin Stough immediately posted a video of their duet on social media while expressing his gratitude to Thompson for allowing him to join him on stage.

Thompson, who won 20 seasons of American Idol, also took to social media to share photos of their performance together.
"CMA FEST Thanks for coming out early to hang out with us!! We're so excited for you all and my boy @colinstough for jumping in and singing along!" Thompson said. Thompson and Stough also performed at a free Nashville event, called 19 Takeover, on June 7 at Valentine, a multi-level bar and live music venue, located on Lower Broadway in the heart of Music City. The show was sponsored by 19 Records, a label that has partnered with Idol to sign contestants and winners of the show. Iam Tongi (Season 21), HunterGirl (Season 20), Megan Danielle (Season 21), Haven Madison (Season 21), Fritz Hager (Season 20), Grace Leer (Season 18) also performed in 19 Takeover events. .

“Being able to record my own music. Man, that makes me very grateful. It's really a part of life that I didn't think I'd be able to see or reach and now we're here," explained Sough. ABC recently revealed that American Idol will return for another season, however, the network has not confirmed if Bryan, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Ryan Seacrest will return for another season.
