Noah Thompson’s Ex Girlfriend Posts 21 New Photos Amid Breakup Rumors

For several weeks, there have been rumors that "American Idol" winner Noah Thompson has broken up with his girlfriend Angel Dixon, the mother of his one-year-old son Walker. He denied rumors that he was dating "Idol" runner-up HunterGirl, but did not say anything about a possible breakup. Now adding fuel to the fire are Dixon's new social media posts — and the comments left for her by friends and fans.

Dixon and baby Walker appeared on "Idol" several times during the 20th season, taping vignettes about Thompson's journey from 20-year-old construction worker in Kentucky to rising country music star. , and when they were on stage during some of his live performances. . In an interview with Music Mayhem Magazine published on January 2023, Thompson talked about the joy of being reunited with his girlfriend and son at home in Louis, Ky. after his big win — and about trying to adjust to the new reality, as Thompson continued to be away from home frequently for concerts, meetings and recording sessions. "It's just a different lifestyle for all of us," he said. "Me and Angel had a bit of a hard time, but we got used to it. It's different, but it's true, you know? But it's for the better and we both know it.

It all works out positively and that's all that matters. " But soon fans noticed that Thompson and Dixon unfollowed each other on social media and deleted his photos from their Instagram feed. Dixon, meanwhile, has photos of her and Walker on stage with the "Idol" winner and her hometown visiting her feed. On January 2023 , Dixon added 21 photos and eight videos to his Facebook account in an album titled 2023, all set to public view. Ten of her new photos are selfies with 15-month-old Walker; mostly photographed in a dimly lit living room, but some of them are also taken while taking a bath and in a car seat. Bright baby has a pacifier or bottle in every photo.

There are also plenty of selfies of Dixon himself and a few with girlfriends. Most of the videos are short clips of her and Walker cuddling on the same living room floor as seen in the uploaded photos, with the toddler giggling and laughing. Dixon did not tag the photos or videos, and none of them included Thompson. While most people commented on how "beautiful" Dixon was or how cute Walker was, many discussed the ongoing breakup rumors. One person wrote: “Angel, I pray everything goes well. I'm so sorry, but the good Lord knows best. No respect for you. He's not my idol at the moment." Another wrote:

"There will come a day he will regret it." Someone also posted a GIF of flashing hearts with the words "Sending hugs and love." This photo dump comes on the heels of another set of photos of Dixon that recently sparked breakup rumors. On January 2023, he posted two professional photos of himself wearing wild flowers in the waistband of his jeans on Instagram, captioning it "flowers that grow from a dark opportunity." Thompson shared her own collection of photos with her little boy on January 2023, captioning the post, which she uploaded to Instagram and Facebook, “I love this little dude more than anything. #littleboy #rotten #fatherandson” and at the time Dixon shared the message on his own Facebook page with two red hearts. Since then, he's released two samples of his upcoming single, a country version of Rihanna's hit "Stay," out January 2023.

In one example, he sang a snippet from his truck, and another example showed a snippet from an actual recording. Thompson first performed the song at Hollywood Week on "American Idol," and judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie explained what inspired his choice. "It's not a song I normally do," he told them, "but it reminds me of coming home because it's a song me and my girlfriend Angel sing." However, he did not mention this connection in any post about the new record. On January 2023, the day before Dixon posted her new photos and videos on Facebook, Thompson spent time in Prestonburg, Ky., according to a Facebook post by local radio station Q95's Allen Bolling.

In Prestonburg, about 45 minutes from Thompson's hometown of Louisa, the rising country star spent time at a radio station as well as singing and signing autographs for residents of a local nursing home. At the time of publication, neither Thompson nor Dixon had publicly commented on their relationship status.
