‘American Idol’ Winner Noah Thompson & His Son Walker Are All Smiles In Adorable New Father/Son Portraits

Noah Thompson and his 2-year-old son, Walker, smile in an adorable new father/son photo.

The American Idol Season 21 winner took to Instagram on Monday night (Jan. 9) to share the most precious photos with his son.

"How beautiful this young man is, @lenawebbphotography you absolutely kill them!! Thank you so much!!!" Thompson captioned the snaps alongside the hashtags: #fatherandson #lovelikenoother #littleboy. The photo series, taken by Lena Webb Photography, shows Thompson posing next to her son. The footage also includes candid snaps of Thompson and Walker spending quality time together on the field as a photographer captured their smiles during the game. Many of Thompson's idol friends like Leah Marlene, Ava Maybee, Olivia Love and Sage took to the comments to praise the photos. Fans were quick to shoot back at the photos and captions, calling the photos "the best father-son photo ever."

"Beautiful photos! What an amazing journey! What an amazing way to be a father," one fan wrote, while another added, "It's beyond precious! These photos are beautiful!!"

The photographer, Lena Webb, also wrote in the comments, saying, "You two have the sweetest connection! <img draggable="false" role="img" class="emoji" alt="🥹" src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/svg/1f979.svg">"

Son Thompson recently appeared in the new music video for Thompson's latest release, "Make You Rich," a song written by Jason Nix, Craig Wiseman and Driver Williams. The song finds Thompson grateful for everything he has in life as he remembers that no matter how rich you are, it's still important to stay humble and use the simple things and life is precious.

"I'm from a small town in Eastern Kentucky and I haven't grown up much," Thompson previously shared about the song. "I've learned to value my friends and family way more than the materialistic things we can have in life. I joke that I'm just a simple guy. And I've learned, even when life is hard, the more you give, and the more you love, the richer you become, and that's the whole meaning behind 'Make You Rich' ."

"Be a better man than an old man / Give bad things when no one else does / Love your woman like you're paid / Like you're not afraid / Like she was meant to be you / Be a good friend when a good friend needs it / Have a little faith when no one believes it / When it comes to love I'll tell you this / You'll give it as the things given will make you're rich," Thompson sings in the chorus.

Thompson shot the music video for the song in his hometown of Louisa, Kentucky. The clip finds Thompson wandering the streets where he grew up and seeing his name inscribed on buildings in the small town. At the end of the clip, he and his son are seen walking through a field hand-in-hand sharing some quality time together as Thompson sings the tune. The Kentucky native dedicated his Idol journey to his son, often sharing, “I want my son to see that I'm chasing my dreams, and I want him to know he can chase his dreams too. I want to give my son a better life.

Throughout Thompson's time on American Idol, the "One Day Tonight" singer has credited his son as his reason to keep moving forward on his Idol journey. That is exactly why I did this. I mean that's what motivates me for all of this. That's what I think about all the time and why I really want to do this," Thompson told Music Mayhem earlier this year.

2023 Music Mayhem Artist to Watch takes a big hit alongside Chase Matthew, marking Thompson's first color scheme to date. "What an awesome way to end the year! The first show, when I saw all those lights, I could have cried," Thompson wrote. It is not said enough. You have changed my life forever and I am forever grateful!! I love you all!! See you in 2023!!!"

In addition, Noah Thompson is currently working on new music and shared a recent song titled "He Gets It From Me."
