Kentucky native who won season 20 of American Idol to perform at state fair

 


LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Kentucky native Noah Thompson and American Idol season 20 winner will perform in Louisville next month. Thompson joined the Texas Roadhouse Concert Series lineup at the Kentucky State Fair. 


He is scheduled to perform on August 24, opening for John Michael Montgomery's Other Kentucky and Walker Montgomery. He is from Louisa, Kentucky. The concerts are included with admission to the fair and take place in Lot L, adjacent to Kentucky Kingdom and Broadbent Arena. Other acts include Russel Dickerson, The Oak Ridge Boys, Lee Greenwood, Night Ranger and We the Kingdom. 



Ticket price for early check-in: Visitors can save more than 50% by purchasing tickets in advance. Early bird tickets are available through August 5 and are $8 per person including parking. Gate admission is $10 per person and $10 for parking per standard vehicle. Save $5 by purchasing Midway Unlimited Ride Wristbands online before the fair starts. Kentucky State Fair admission and ride wristbands are available online through Ticketmaster and at participating Kroger locations.
